CLARK, NJ - The Department of Public Works has issued a reminder that branch pick up is complete for the month of June and no branches should be placed on the streets again before July 15.   Branch pick up is done during the fourth week of every month from April through September.  Residents are reminded that branches may be placed curbside during the third week only, not in the first or second week of the month.

Mayor Bonaccorso urged residents during a recent town council meeting to keep the streets clean and the town looking neat and presentable.   "Put your branches out on the third week of the month and we will pick them up during the fourth week.  You've been putting them out there since week one," said Bonaccorso.  "The streets are littered with branches."

The mayor was quick to remind residents that in neighboring towns, leaving debris on the streets in off weeks would result in a summons and an appearance before a municipal judge.  "The last thing I want to do is fine my residents...we are glad to take your branches, adhere to the program," urged Bonaccorso.
