Notice of Public Hearing – Clark Planning Board

NOTICE

TOWNSHIP OF CLARK PLANNING BOARD

TAKE NOTICE: that on the 6th day of April, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. a meeting will be held before the Township of Clark Planning Board at the Arthur L. Johnson High School, located at 365 Westfield Avenue, Township of Clark, Union County, New Jersey. At that meeting a public hearing will be held to consider adoption of a 1999-2025 Housing Element and Fair Share Plan as an update to the Township’s Master Plan. The 1999-2025 Housing Element and Fair Share Plan include proposed zoning ordinance amendments for accomplishing the goals of that Plan. The 1999-2025 Housing Element and Fair Share Plan, if approved, will be submitted to the court as part of the settlement of a Declaratory Judgment Action pending in Union County Superior Court. At the hearing the Planning Board may take any and all actions it is permitted by law to take with regard to all matters within its jurisdiction, including but not limited to; hearing testimony, discussion, voting and adoption of resolutions on this and other matters.

A copy of the proposed 1999-2025 Housing Element and Fair Share Plan will be on file in the Planning Board office 10 days prior to the hearing and will be available for inspection during normal business hours. The clerks of adjoining municipalities may request a copy by contacting this office. A draft has been sent along with this notice to the Union County Planning Board.

Any interested party may appear at said hearing and participate therein in accordance with the rules of the Planning Board.

February’s spotlight is on Joseph Horling , Staff Sergeant US Army 1942-1946.

Joe was born in Rahway NJ on Oct 1, 1920.  He and his brother Anthony were born to Anthony Sr. and Bertha Horling .  Joe’s father was born in Munich and his mother Bertha in Austria.
