CLARK, NJ – An official Union County Ballot Drop-off box has been installed in Clark.  The box is open and ready for voters to cast their ballots Clark Township Clerk, Edie Merkel said.  Registered voters in Clark will be receiving their official mail-in ballots this week according to Tuesday’s announcement

The drop-off box is located at the Clark Recreation Center at 430 Westfield Avenue.  The box is located at the front door of the recreation office to the right of the basketball courts and at the top of the handicap ramp in the parking lot facing Westfield Avenue.

Merkel said an inner locked-box is removed on a daily basis by a bipartisan team of election board staff.   She also said the box is fixed to the ground, secure and under the watchful eye of a video camera 24/7.

Union County Board of Elections Administrator Nicole Dirado also announced Wednesday that her office plans to open a total of 22 boxes in the upcoming weeks.  Union County has posted a complete list of ballot drop-off boxes.
