FLORENCE, ITALY - Travelers from ALJ continued their journey through Italy spending Monday, Tuesday and into Wednesday in Florence. Upon arrival, students and staff immediately set out to explore the Renaissance city seeing the world famous Duomo, Baptistery Doors, Ponte Vecchio and many other sites.

On Tuesday, they began the day at the Uffizi Museum, home to some of the world's  most famous art. The travelers then took a motorcoach to the medieval town of San Gimignano. "Walking down streets that are 1000 years old was amazing," said Vincent Gennaro.

In the evening, after getting refreshed, they boogied the night away at a local disco. The next stop will take these traveling Crusaders to Pompeii, Sorrento and Capri.
