CLARK, NJ - Clark Health Officer, Nancy Raymond issued a public service announcement on Wednesday, October 28 notifying attendees of Saturday's Trunk 'R Treat that they may have been in proximity to a person who tested positive for COVID-19 soon after.  The annual event was held at the grounds of the Clark Recreation Center on Saturday, October 24. 

In her letter, Raymond says those that were at the event should monitor themselves for symptoms of the virus, stay home if feeling ill and contact their primary care physician. If tested for the virus, Raymond said it is imperative that individuals stay home until results arrive.

The Clark Health Department is issuing the following  COVID 19 public service announcement.

The Clark Health Officer has received  notification of an individual who tested positive for the COVID 19 virus and who attended the Trunk or Treat event which was held  on Saturday, October 24th, 2020  at the Clark Municipal Building.

Attendees are advised to monitor for COVID symptoms ,fever, chills, muscle aches/pains, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, wheezing, abdominal pain, and diarrhea to name a few.

Anyone with questions or concerns should speak with their primary care physician or pediatrician. If you are feeling ill, stay home from school, work and limit exposure with other people. Continue to practice social distancing, good hand hygiene, sanitize high hand contact surfaces and wear face coverings that cover your nose, mouth and chin.

If you are being tested for the COVID 19 virus, you must stay home until you receive your result.

Individuals who may test positive will be contacted by the Clark Health Department further guidance and contact tracing.
