'Patches and Stitches' Quilt Raffle to Benefit Clark Public Library

CLARK, NJ - A hand-made quilt is hanging in the Clark Public Library, but not for long.  On Saturday, Nov. 19 it will be going home with the lucky winner of the "Patches and Stitches" quilt raffle.

"Patches and Stitches" is a quilting club that meets at the library every Tuesday at noon. 

"The quilters made and donated the quilt as their thank you to the library for giving them space to meet," Library Director Dawn Jenkin said.  Proceeds from raffle ticket sales will go to the library, she said.

The quilt is is approximately 73" by 74". 

Tickets are available at the library and are $5 each or three for $12.  The drawing will take place during the annual Friends of the Library vendor day on Nov. 19. 

A variety of clubs meet at the library, Jenkin said.  Visit the library's online calendar to see the many events, activities and meetings the library has to offer.
