CLARK, NJ – Long after Clark’s Memorial Day Parade and ceremony had ended and folks had returned to their recreational plans for the day, two men headed out to pay tribute in particular to the women who gave their lives in war to maintain American freedom.

William Caruso, of Performance Realty Corp. and Anthony D'Agostino, owner Broker of ERA Village Green Realtors placed a memorial wreath at the Clark monument dedicated to women war veterans.

This location has a special place in Caruso’s heart since he and his wife Gert came up with the idea for the memorial site and helped raise funds for it to be installed across from the front doors of Clark’s Municipal Building.

The monument was dedicated in 2016 during a special unveiling ceremony.  When the memorial site was opened Caruso said he hoped it would serve as a reminder to future generations of the dedication and commitment women have made to the country.
