Recent ALJ Alumni Share Tips with Class of 2016

CLARK, NJ - Recent Arthur L. Johnson High School alumni returned to the school on Jan. 8 to share their college experiences with the soon-to-be graduating class of 2016.  

The alumni spoke about college life and how to make the transition from high school to college. They offered helpful tips for making the most of senior year and fielded questions from the current seniors. The visitors offered suggestions about preparing  academically, socially and emotionally for the change to come.  

The alumni participating in the presentation were:

School counselors Ellen Zamboni, Erica Palmieri, Molly Cusick and Jennifer Sanchez coordinated the event.

Cranford Man Dies after Wrong-Way Crash on Route 9

April 10, 2018

WOODBRIDGE, NJ – A Cranford man died after his car collided with another vehicle on Route 9 on Sunday.

Thomas McHugh, 88, was driving north in the southbound fast lane on Route 9, where he crashed head-on into another vehicle. On impact, one of the cars caught fire, according to Sgt. Jim Chessere of the Woodbridge Police Department.
