CLARK, NJ - A slice of tradition was served up on Saturday afternoon as the Clark Recreation and Clark PBA held their Annual Trunk R Treat.   "The mayor and I felt it was necessary to hold the event for children as long as it could be done safely," said Recreation Director Ralph Bernardo.  "Everyone had a great time."

This is the first community-wide event held by the recreation department since the pandemic forced many closures and cancellations.   This year Bernardo said special measures were taken to keep attendees safe including one-way trick or treating, mask wearing and social distancing whenever possible.

Bernardo said prizes were given out for the scariest, funniest, and most original costumes. Children had the chance to gather treats at over 40 trunks.  They also enjoyed a train ride, hatchet throwing (Velcro), corn maze, and pumpkin carving.
