Service League Thrift Shop Bag Sale

SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ -- From Wednesday, July 5, thru Saturday, July 8, the The Fanwood-Scotch Plains Service League Thrift Shop (1741 E. 2nd St., Scotch Plains) will host its ever popular Bag Sale.

For $5.00, customers can fill a brown supermarket paper bag. There is no limit to the number of bags purchased. If merchandise is too large to fit into the bag, the item will sell for half price. Please, no over-stuffing.

On Tuesday, July 11, the Shop will reopen with fresh merchandise to take shoppers through the summer.

The Fanwood-Scotch Plains Service League is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that has served our communities since 1974. Since its founding, the League has donated $1.2 million for local causes. Anyone interested in learning more about the League is invited to call 908-322-5420, visit www.scotchplainsthriftshop.weebly.com, or speak to any of the volunteers at the shop.

Shop hours are Tuesday thru Friday 10-2:30 and Saturday 10-1. The Shop is open for the summer. Donations of new, current, gently used items are always welcomed. Free parking on the street and in the rear of the building (enter parking lot via Willow Ave.).
