CLARK, NJ — The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for Union County until 7:15 p.m. Sunday.

A slow-moving cold front will bring thunderstorms through this evening. Torrential rainfall is occurring, which may cause localized flooding. Damaging winds up to 40 miles per hour and pea- to nickel-size hail are possible with this storm, according to the service.

The National Weather Service advises drivers, “Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.”
