PRINCETON, NJ – Six of Arthur L. Johnson’s varsity senior cheerleaders recently received scholarships from the New Jersey Cheerleading & Dance Coaches Association (NJCDCA). This is the first time the NJCDCA awarded scholarships to six members of the same school. The cheerleaders were honored at an awards ceremony and brunch in Princeton on Sunday, June 10.

Students Chloe Hessler, Adriana Palmucci, Athena Petronella, Marissa Petronella, Amanda Pratt, and Samantha Tavares were selected to receive scholarships. Over the past two years, these cheerleaders have had winning seasons and earned State Championship Titles.

The NJCDCA awards scholarships to students based on their academic achievement, leadership, community service, and athletic excellence in cheerleading.
