CLARK, NJ – The second annual Clark Youth Lacrosse Night was held earlier in May on the Arthur L. Johnson High School field. Members of Clark Youth Lacrosse trained and ran through drills organized by ALJ’s varsity lacrosse team.

The night ended with speeches by Head Varsity Lacrosse Coach Lou VanBergen and former MLL star and current Head Lacrosse Coach of the Wagner Seahawks Matt Poskay.  Both speakers are alumni of Clark Youth Lacrosse, Carl H. Kumpf Middle School, and ALJ.

“It was a true privilege having Matt and the members of Clark Youth Lacrosse attend today’s event. We stress to our student athletes that the relationships that they develop playing and coaching last a lifetime,” said VanBergen.

“When I asked Matt to stop in to talk to our players, he jumped at the opportunity to not only stop by, but to spend an entire evening with our programs,” added VanBergen.  “It was a great night for Crusader Lacrosse.”

Crusader Lacrosse Family thanked the Varsity team, coaches and special guest Poskay for their help throughout the evening on the practice field.
