St. Joseph High School Theater Company Presents Witness for the Prosecution

METHUCHEN, NJ -- The St. Joseph's Theatre Company and alumni Falcon Rep Theatre Company will present Agatha Christie's Witness for the Prosecution on July 30th and 31st and August 1st and 2nd at St. Joseph High School (145 Plainfield Ave. in Metuchen). 

The Witness for the Prosecution is a play (and short story) by mystery writer Agatha Christie. Accused murderer Leonard Vole is arrested in connection with the death of a wealthy older woman, Emily French. Miss French Unaware that Vole was a married man, she made him her principal heir. Things become interestingn when Vole's wife, Romaine, agrees to testify as a witness for the prosecution... while ultimately trying to secure his freedom. 

The St. Joseph Theatre Company(SJTC) offers students the opportunity to develop new skills and enrich innate and emerging talents in theatre and drama, within areas of performance, technical production, and dramaturgical analysis. SJTC strives to reflect the larger mission of academic excellence and spiritual values at St. Joe's. Its former students have also received thousands of dollars in scholarships in and outside of theatre -- some with full academic and artistic funding for their collegiate careers.
