The Alumnae Award will be presented to two individuals this year, Patricia Dillman and Dr. Frieda E. Lewis.

Patricia Dillman earned a BSN at Rutgers and a Master's Degree in Nursing from Seton Hall and began what would become her lifelong commitment to caring for critically ill children.

After a career in pediatric nursing, Dillman is now an educator at Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center in Yonkers, New York, where she shares her experience through clinical orientations and ongoing education for employees, patients, and their families.

Frieda E. Lewis received a bachelor of arts in chemistry from Rutgers and then served her Internship and Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at UMDNJ Medical School.

She currently practices at Lifeline Medical Associates in Parsippany and will be named one of the Top Doctors in New Jersey in an upcoming issue of Healthy Living.

Lewis lectures Mother Seton students on sex education and women's health issues.

The Faculty Award will be presented to both Sister Mary Anne Katlack and Patricia Schmidt Campos. A Sister of Charity for 60 years, Sister Mary Anne Katlack has served in a variety of ministries in a variety of settings.

Previously Sister Mary Anne taught or served as administrator at East Orange Catholic High School, Mother Seton, and Marylawn of the Oranges.

Before returning to Mother Seton as Director of Campus Ministry, Sister Mary Anne also served as a member of the Congregational government of the Sisters of Charity.

She has involved current Mother Seton students in fundraising, tutoring, and other projects to benefit the Elizabeth Coalition to House the Homeless.

Sister Mary Anne earned Master's Degrees in Administration and Supervision from Montclair State as well as in Theology from the College of Saint Elizabeth. Patricia Schmidt Campos earned a BS degree from Trenton State College and a Master's in Education and a Certificate in Information Technology from Seton Hall University.

At Mother Seton, Campos taught World, U.S., and European History, World Geography, and Reading and Skill Development. Ms. Campos moderated numerous extra-curricular activities including serving as yearbook advisor. Her name appears consistently on lists of favored teachers and many graduates credit her with cultivating work habits that served them in later academic and professional pursuits.

The Friend of Mother Seton High School award will be given to the East Orange Catholic High School Alumnae Association.

Even though the school no longer exists, the EOCH Alumnae Association continues to support the educational ministry of the Sisters of Charity. To date, they have collected and distributed almost $100,000 to young women who attend Sisters of Charity High Schools in the Archdiocese of Newark including many from Mother Seton.
