CLARK, NJ - Team Campiglia walked its way to more than $4,600 in donations for multiple sclerosis (MS) awareness and research efforts during last week’s Walk MS event in Oak Ridge Park.
"It was the most beautiful day!! We had the largest team there,” team leader Kristen Campiglia said. Campiglia’s husband, Anthony, was diagnosed with MS four years ago, and the couple – supported by many friends and relatives – have walked ever since.
The Clark Walk MS is one of more than 500 such charity events held annually to fund research, provide support services and raise awareness of multiple sclerosis, an unpredictable and disabling disease of the central nervous system.
Visit the Walk MS: Clark 2016 website for more information about the walk, or to make a donation.
