CLARK, NJ - Schools in Clark opened on what felt more like a summer's day than the traditional start of fall. Smiles crossed many faces as students, teachers and parents alike welcomed a fresh start and a return to a regular routine.

Frank Caragher, a teacher at Valley Road School, said of the first day back, "It was very exciting to return to Valley Road School. The brand new driveway, brand new lockers and freshly painted walls made today feel special.  It was great to see all the smiling faces walking into the classrooms."

TAP into Clark thanks the parents who shared their family photos, providing a glimpse into the first day of school.
