The Clark Public School District Holding First Tea with Superintendent

The Clark Public School District's Parent University presents its first Tea with the Superintendent on Friday, January 19 at 9 a.m. at Arthur L. Johnson.  The topic for the gathering will be on increasing parent involvement.

The event is open to all parents with children attending the Clark Public Schools. To register, contact Christine Broski at cbroski@clarkschools.org or (732) 574-9600 x3355.

This event is part of the district’s Parent University program, which includes virtual sessions, community education nights, and two larger assembly-type programs.

Cranford Man Dies after Wrong-Way Crash on Route 9

WOODBRIDGE, NJ – A Cranford man died after his car collided with another vehicle on Route 9 on Sunday.

Thomas McHugh, 88, was driving north in the southbound fast lane on Route 9, where he crashed head-on into another vehicle. On impact, one of the cars caught fire, according to Sgt. Jim Chessere of the Woodbridge Police Department.
