CLARK, NJ – Those familiar with Oh’ Brian’s on the Green know their slogan “good beer, great food and better people.”  Patrons will soon be adding “buona pizza” to the catch phrase after they eat at the new Pizza Bar.

Owned by Oh’ Brian’s, the Pizza Bar operates in a smaller space adjacent to the restaurant.  It is open daily for takeout, quick dining alongside the golf course or for fresh personal size pies and pastas delivered tableside in Oh’ Brian’s.

Owner Brian Costello has loved pizza since his first restaurant job in a New York pizzeria.  When it came time to brainstorm how to repurpose the space formerly used as a short order and quick snack facility for golfers, pizza was his immediate vision.

Costello explained, “It was my goal to bring a concept in that would work for the golf course, but that also works as a great compliment to our full menu at Oh’ Brian’s, and we could serve all year long.  The Pizza Bar concept is something that I’ve had on my shelf so to speak.  I wasn’t sure when and where we would launch it. “

Working with Oh’ Brian’s Chef Lawrence Talis, Costello created a menu featuring pizza with a twist alongside house-made pasta served in traditional Italian style, salads and more.

Thin crust Neapolitan style pizzas are created by Chef Eduordo Borracchinu from Florence Italy at the Pizza Bar.  Offerings include the classic pizza as well as Margharita, Burrata, El Hawaiian, The Cali, Baby Argula or White Pie.   

Proud of his new dining concept, Costello added,   “When you try this pizza, you can immediately taste the quality, and we look forward to serving it to the people of Clark and Cranford as well as the surrounding towns for many years to come.”
