The Recycling Crusaders of Hehnly School in Clark

Pictured below are the Recycling Crusaders with the winner of the raffle basket, Mrs. Pflug.

Recycling Crusaders of Frank K Hehnly Elementary School in Clark have succeeded in their yearlong goal of raising enough money to purchase a buddy bench which will soon be sited on the school’s playground.  The buddy bench is intended to foster inclusion and combat loneliness during recess by providing visibility for students who are not actively participating.  The club led by Mrs. Estevez, Mrs. Conner, and a variety of students raised money in the name of recycling by selling recycling crusader t-shirts and tickets for a raffle basket which included a variety of environmentally friendly items.
