ELIZABETH, NJ – A 26-year-old Elizabeth woman was found dead Easter Sunday in her apartment in the Mravlag Manor, acting Union County Prosecutor Grace H. Park announced Monday, March 28.
Trenice Johnson was found by police at approximately 6 p.m. Sunday. An autopsy determined that the cause of Johnson’s death was a combination of strangulation and asphyxiation and was declared a homicide.
In the Prosecutor’s office announcement, no mention was made of an abducted child, as previously reported in TAPinto.
The Prosecutor’s Office’s Homicide Task Force, the Elizabeth Police Department, and the Union County Sheriff’s Office’s Identification Unit are investigating..
