CLARK, NJ — New Jersey American Water will begin routine flushing of its water distribution system in the Clark area Monday, May 1, through Friday, May 5, to ensure that customers continue to receive high-quality water service, the utility has announced.
“Flushing also allows us to monitor and maintain fire hydrants,” NJ American Water said in its alert. “When crews are working in your area, you may notice reduced pressure or discolored water. If your water is discolored, wait until it runs clear before using. This should typically take only a few minutes”
