CLARK, NJ - Milling and paving on Westfield Avenue from Brant Avenue to Madison Hill Road will take place on Wednesday, July 6 and Thursday, July 7, according to Clark Police Lieutenant Michael Pollock. The road will be reduced to one lane while the work is done, he said.

"Traffic going toward Rahway will always stay on Westfield Avenue," Pollock said. He explained that eastbound traffic will be diverted to the left lane when the right-hand land is undergoing repair.

"Traffic coming out of Rahway, going toward the Parkway, will detour on Broadway or Madison Hill Road," Pollock said.

Pollock said detours will be clearly marked and officers will be in the roadway directing traffic.

Work will begin at 7 a.m. and end at approximately 6 p.m. both days, according to Pollock.
