CLARK, NJ - Over 150 students from kindergarten through fifth grade had a blast “Cruisin’ Through Winter” in the Hehnly auditorium. The 4th annual dance, organized by physical education teacher Joe Sortino, was held to support Alex’s Lemonade Stand, a foundation that builds awareness and raises money for childhood cancers.

Encouraging exercise for a good cause, Mr. Sortino and the Hehnly students raised over $900 to donate to the organization. "I'm so proud of the Hehnly school community coming together for this great cause," said Sortino.

Throughout the night, students  participated in many dances including the Cha Cha Slide and Macarena. Just Dance was set up on the projector screen so students could dance along.  The PTA also donated free lemonade and pretzels to the students.
