SCOTCH PLAINS, N.J. -- The Union Catholic softball team, behind the slugging of Olivia Magliacano and the pitching of Jules Hart, celebrated Senior Day with an 8-1 victory over Scotch Plains-Fanwood on Thursday at Union Catholic. 
    
Magliacano, a junior, continued her impressive power at the plate by slugging her sixth homer of the season and driving in two runs.
