Comic Book Convention Coming to Clark Library in May

CLARK, NJ – The Clark Library is hosting its first annual Comic Book Convention called Random Fandom Con in May.    The community is invited to join in the day’s events and costumes are encouraged.

There will be a comic book artist workshop, Pokemon Party Panel, Harry Potter Radio Show, costume contest, free giveaways, Sushi Candy, vendors, trivia game, and so much more according to Library Director Megan Kociolek.

“We are excited to be hosting this event, it’s going to be a great day and the start of an annual event,” said Kociolek.

Cranford Man Dies after Wrong-Way Crash on Route 9

April 10, 2018

WOODBRIDGE, NJ – A Cranford man died after his car collided with another vehicle on Route 9 on Sunday.

Thomas McHugh, 88, was driving north in the southbound fast lane on Route 9, where he crashed head-on into another vehicle. On impact, one of the cars caught fire, according to Sgt. Jim Chessere of the Woodbridge Police Department.
