CLARK, NJ - Aliperti's Catering at the Gran Centurions is here to stay according to owner Garry Ruane during a recent interview.

Rumors persisted over the last year about plans to develop the site.  Ruane has finally put an end to all of the gossip by signing a ten year lease for the facility.

“I’m here to stay, and will be creating memorable occasions for many years to come,” said Ruane.

Ruane a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, has been at the Gran Centurions over twenty years creating affairs to remember for his clients.

“We are flexible, our customers always come first,” said Ruane.  “We can add items to the menu for an event, take them off, and make something special, we are here to serve.”

Serve is what they do and often far beyond average measure.   Ruane shared a story of receiving a frantic call from a bride just days before her wedding in desperate need of a venue.  Ruane explained that her former banquet plans had fallen apart and she no longer had a location for her big day.

Even though the Gran Centurions was completely booked for the date she needed, Ruane and his team put their heads together and found the solution.   A tent was brought in and an elegant reception was created on the grounds of the facility.

Thankfully this type of extreme situation isn’t a weekly routine for Ruane and his staff but they are ready to serve and make things happen for their clients when they do.

The Gran Centurions has three rooms, two featuring outdoor areas and one holds the largest dance floor in Union County according to Ruane.   The Terrace Room was completely renovated last month.

The rooms are designed to fit between 50 to 375 guests for all types of events such as weddings, sweet sixteen’s, showers, reunions, community events and much more.

The grounds of the facility include well manicured landscaping, a gazebo, extensive parking and a swim club.

The food is made from scratch on premises with the best ingredients and attention to detail.  The pasta is made fresh with a machine imported from Sicily.

Ruane and his team can provide an memorable experience for a variety of budgets.   Brunches start at $25.95 per person and wedding specials start at $61.95 per person.

“I want to thank the Clark community for their patronage and I’ll be here continuing to serve them, “said Ruane.
