CLARK, NJ - As promised the Clark Police Department's Halloween Patrol hit the streets of town Thursday spreading joy and sharing lots of candy in this growing tradition of community policing brought to local residents.

Clark Police Officer Ted McKeown was caught on cameras all around town on Thursday afternoon brightening the day of youngsters and their families as he stopped, greeted Clark's youngest residents and distributed candy.   McKeown started giving candy out the windows of his patrol car on Halloween a couple of years ago and has added to the tradition each year.   

This year he even had Officer Henry with him on this very important seasonal patrol.  Henry, a full-size glow in the dark skeleton was in the passenger seat of the car throughout the day to the delight of most window-height youngsters.
