CLARK, NJ - The Clark Library has temporarily suspended programs serving the senior citizen population. In a post to their Facebook page, library officials said, "Out of an abundance of caution to protect our residents, the Clark Public Library is postponing programs that primarily service our senior population until April 1."
Director Megan Kociolek said the Library Board felt it was important to keep Clark's seniors safe in light of community health concerns. She additionally indicated some larger children's events have been canceled as well. Kociolek recommended calling 732-388-5999 for event status before heading to the library.
"We are doing this for safety reasons," Kociolek said. "We also took all of our toys out of the children's room, are providing hand sanitizer and making sure all areas are clean."
Kociolek reminds patrons there are plenty of online digital resources available on the Clark Library website.
