CLARK, NJ - Since social-distancing allows for families to be outside together, one local family decided to take the #ClarkRainbows movement beyond their front door and windows and join the #ChalktheWalk movement.
Last week the Brzezinski family carried messages of hope and goodwill from their door, down their path to the sidewalk in a series of positive messages. Check out their video here:
The #ClarkRainbows movement was started by ALJ Italian teacher Alessandra Bonacchi when she saw the trend happening in Italy as a reassurance that everything would be okay. Mrs. Koepfler's students at Valley Road school joined in the fun too. Since then Clark's families and teachers have continued to post #ClarkRainbows on their front doors.
The latest trend to start is the #BearHunt. To participate homeowners put teddy bears in their front windows for children to hunt as they go on walks with their families each day. No matter the hashtag, residents are spreading cheer throughout town in these most unusual time. Is your house rainbow, chalk or teddy ready?
