The Clark Public School District’s School Counseling Department has been very busy staying connected to students in all grade levels. Recently, the department rebuilt the entire scholarship program to be available online. Additionally, to share information, the department created an Instagram page (clark_school_counseling_dept) which was spearheaded by Kumpf Middle School Counselor Danielle Crincoli. The Instagram account promotes many activities organized by the department including a Virtual Spirit Week in which students could participate from home. The week included School Spirit Day, Pajama Day, Red, White & Blue Day, and St. Patrick’s Day. Using their Instagram account, they also created a Daily Photo Scavenger Hunt as well as an Outdoor Chalk Art activity which encourages students to write hopeful messages using chalk.
