CLARK, NJ – Ms. Christy Di Iorio took her Arthur L. Johnson High School class to visit the Clark Fire Department on July 15. During the visit, Clark Fire Department Lieutenant Ryan Might spent the morning talking to students about the daily operations and tools the department uses each day.

According to Might students got to sit in the trucks, spray hoses, check out key pieces of equipment like the ‘Jaws of Life’ and ask lots of questions about life in the fire department. “They really asked some good questions,” said Might. “Kept me on my toes and had me thinking on a few of them, they were really interested.”

Might who works for Clark’s Department of Public Works and volunteers with the Clark Fire Department, went to high school with Di Iorio in Westfield as teenagers.   He said it’s ironic they both ended up working in the same town.
