CLARK, NJ - Kumpf Middle School’s kTV morning broadcast is on their way to completing their 40th season this school year.   That is 20 years of morning news, announcements, fun, creativity and more under the direction of faculty advisor Matt Serwedes.

Most recently kTV held their first ever home-edition of the Star Power lip-sync competition. An annual tradition, this year’s event was held virtually during this time of distance learning. As part of the show, Serwedes and kTV students created an emotional opening to the show.

Included in the opening was an energetic faculty lip-sync to a popular song.  Teacher Lauren Blackwood spearheaded the faculty video and with the help of Danielle Bihuniak and Serwedes produced a segment that Principal Rick Delmonaco described as memorable.   Check it the Star Power Opening and Kumpf Teacher Lip Synch  here:

After a live vote, with over 400 participants the Zdeb family was the ultimate winner of this year’s Star Power- Home Edition.   Delmonaco said the show was great diversion for students during this extended remote learning time.
