CLARK, NJ - Four candidates have filed to run for three seats on the Board of Education, according to the Union County Clerk's Office.

Newcomer Natalie Bassinski will vie for a seat against incumbents Lorraine Aklonis, Thomas Lewis and Henry Varriano.  BOE seats have a three-year term.

The candidates met the 4 p.m. deadline on Monday to file petitions to run. The election will be held Tuesday, Nov. 5.
