FLUSHING, NY – The Schola Choir from Saint John the Apostle School hit Citi Field on June 13 to sing the National Anthem. The students’ voices opened the summer-like evening of baseball before a game between the Mets and the Cardinals.
This is the third year the choir has performed at the venue. Choir members range in age from 9 to 13. Joseph Mayon is the director of the group.
According to school officials, the singers were acknowledged by Howie Rose on WCBS 880 AM for doing an amazing job.
