CLARK, NJ - The Clark Public School District will be hosting “Choices,” a presentation featuring former WWE Champion Marc Mero, for all parents and students in the district on April 25th at 7 p.m. in the ALJ auditorium. Mero will also be holding an assembly for all seventh and eighth grade students at Carl H. Kumpf Middle School during the day.
Described as a life-changing and life-saving experience, Mero shares his personal story of achieving fame and learning what really matters. Topics to be discussed include bullying, suicide prevention, substance abuse, goal-setting, dreaming big, making positive choices, and fulfilling your highest potential.
“We are looking forward to Marc sharing his important message with our seventh and eighth-graders and are hoping that the evening event brings out a large amount of our school community members so that together we can become more aware of important, timely issues that have an impact on our students,” said Superintendent of Schools Edward Grande.
School officials said, through Mero's presentation, the audience will leave inspired to dream big, achieve their goals, and treat themselves and others with respect. Promoting a positive school community, he encourages students to make the right choices and take a stand against bullying. For parents, Mero educates them on current issues and influences that directly impact young adults in today’s world.
