CLARK, NJ - The annual Valley Road School History Camp is underway again this summer.   The week long program kicked off on Monday, July 22 with a visit to the Dr. Willam Robinson Museum located on Madison Hill Road. Campers were given a thorough tour of the museum, played colonial games, learned about colonial times and interacted with camp leaders dressed in period costumes.

Bryan Lowe, a fifth-grade teacher at Valley Road Elementary School, founded the camp with the school’s principal, Joseph Beltramba. The two were inspired after attending a week-long seminar by the Colonial Williamsburg Teacher Institute several years ago.

Museum Director Scott McCabe was on hand to greet campers and share information about the historic location they were visting.
