CLARK, NJ - Mayor Bonaccorso issued a post-storm statement to the residents of Clark on Sunday.   “I want the community to know that DPW and three private companies we hired are out clearing trees and debris from around town,” said Bonaccorso.  “Most streets are open and the ones that are not most likely have trees tangled with powerlines, so we have to wait for PSEG on those.”

Bonaccorso said 1,015 homes in Clark were without power after Saturday afternoon’s severe thunderstorm.   He said PSEG is working with the town and will have power restored as soon as possible.

“If citizens need a cooling station, they are asked to call the Clark Police station on the non-urgent line at 732-388-3434 for assistance.”
