CLARK, NJ  -By way of unanimous motion and second the entire Clark Township Council approved a resolution on Monday evening to extend the grace period for second quarter 2020 real estate taxes to May 29, 2020.

Mayor Bonaccorso said in a statement last week that he would make the recommendation to the council after Governor Phil Murphy released an executive order allowing municipalites to extend the date.

During the meeting Clark’s Business Administrator said taxpayers should not wait until May 29 to drop off taxes at the drop box at Town Hall, instead the monies need to be in the town’s coffers by that date.
