CLARK, NJ- Clark voters will have four opportunities to check out a demonstration of Union County’s new ExpressVote XL voting machines in town before the November general elections. Union County Elections personnel will show votets how to use the machine at the following locations:
September 24 - Clark Municipal Building – 430 Westfield Avenue 11:00 -3:00pm
September 28 - Clark Library – 303 Westfield Avenue 11:00 – 4:00pm
October 12 - Clark UNICO Italian Feast – Municipal Grounds – 430 Westfield Avenue 1:00 – 6:00pm
October 21 - Clark Council Meeting – Public Safety Building – 315 Westfield Avenue 7:00 – 9:30pm
Demonstration are open to all Union County residents, voters and non-voters alike. Attendees are advised that photographing and/or video recording of voting machines used by Union County is prohibited.
Voters in Westfield piloted the new machines in the 2018 General Elections. Eight additional municipalities started using the new machines starting with the Primary Election on June 4, and the remaining 12 county municipalities will use them starting with the General Election in November.
