CLARK, NJ – The Clark Firehouse is closed to the public as a measure of precaution during the national COVID-19 watch. At this time only active firefighters are allowed on the premises. Residents in need of emergency assistance should call 911.
Chief Frank Cerasa is asking residents to please tell dispatchers if anyone in the residence is experiencing flu-like symptoms or has been asked to self-quarantine. Firefighters will respond to the scene but may wear respiratory protection as a means of guarding the team and the public.
Cerasa said non-emergent messages for any of the Clark FD team can be left on the voice mail of the business phone and will be returned when possible. He said this number is not always monitored.
All social and non-essential activities are canceled until further notice.
