CLARK, NJ - The Clark Fire Department was dispatched to set up a landing zone for a New Jersey State Police helicopter on Friday afternoon.  According to Clark Fire Chief Frank Cerasa, the team cleared the area behind Mother Seton Regional High School for the landing. 

Cerasa said the motorcycle versus car crash took place on Brandt Avenue just before 5:30 p.m. Clark Police said a 58-year-old man from Rahway was seriously injured in the crash and transported to University Hospital in Newark.  A 47-year-old woman from Avenel was uninjured.  Clark Police are seeking witnesses to the accident.  Anyone with information is asked to call Det. The Clark Volunteer Emergency Squad transported the motorcycle driver from the scene of the accident to the helicopter.
