CLARK, NJ - Arthur L. Johnson High School Principal Jennifer Feeley sent a Honeywell Alert message through the district on Wednesday afternoon. The communication suggested receivers might have been aware of a situation at the school and assured the public an investigation had been completed. The message said:
“As many of you know, there was an alleged comment made regarding Arthur L. Johnson High School. Please trust that, as always, we took the allegation with the utmost of seriousness and immediately involved the Clark Police who found that our students, staff, and school were never at any risk. Know that such safety always has been and will continue to be of paramount importance to us.”
According to Police Chief Pedro Matos school officials learned of a rumor going around the building about a student making threats toward the school. Matos said Clark Police and school officials investigated and found nothing credible or any reason for concern.
