CLARK, NJ - It was a night of celebration at the Arthur L. Johnson 2019 – 2020 Winter Athletic Awards recently. The evening, sponsored by the Crusader Athletic Booster Club, recognizes each team.

During the evening coaches highlight their team members while handing out letters and awards to student athletes. According to Athletic Director, Gus Kalikas over 188 varsity athletic letters were handed out throughout the evening, as participation in athletics at Arthur L. Johnson High School continues to grow.

ALJ Principal Jennifer Feeley had the opportunity to bestow the Student Athlete Award to Robert Lukasiewicz.  Kalikas said this award is given out each season to a student athlete that is not only a champion on the field, but in the classroom as well.  Lukasiewicz currently holds a 4. 99 G.P.A. and is ranked first in his senior class.
