CORAL SPRINGS, FL – Broward County Schools Superintendent Robert Runcie has been arrested on a perjury in an official proceeding charge.
He was booked at the Broward County Jail on Wednesday and release, according to the jail’s website.
He was arrested by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
Runcie, 59, has been the leader of the nation’s sixth-largest school district, with more than 250,000 students, since 2011.
