CORAL SPRINGS, FL – Cindy Messina, a funeral director for Kraeer Funeral Home & Cremation Center and board member of Coral Springs Coconut Creek Regional Chamber of Commerce, has died of complications related to Covid-19.

She had been fighting the virus since mid-June, Cindy Brief, the chamber’s CEO, wrote on Facebook.

“Cindy was a wonderful person and took care of so many in our community during the worst of times, including the Douglas shootings,” Brief wrote. “She was kind, caring and had a fantastic sense of humor.”
