CORAL SPRINGS, FL – New road construction is starting later this month on Coral Ridge Drive through much of Coral Springs.

The 4.8-mile project from Southgate Boulevard to Wyndham Circle will include widening the roadway for 6-foot bicycle lanes, constructing sidewalks at existing gaps, and reconstructing sidewalk ramps, according to the Florida Department of Transportation, which is handling the work.

Improvements also include upgrading vehicle and pedestrian signals, modifying and relocating drainage structures, repairing bridge deck joints over the C-14 Canal, as well as milling and resurfacing, and adding pavement markings.
