CORAL SPRINGS, FL  – The city is proud to announce the return of Commission Connection, a program geared towards middle and high school students interested in learning more about municipal government.

The program returns virtually on Tuesday, November 17 from 5 to 6 p.m. Each session takes place on the third Tuesday of every month. Space is limited. Students who wish to participate may register for the upcoming session online. Once registered, the student will receive a Zoom link to attend.

Participating students will learn more about the City of Coral Springs, from its rich history, present-day operations, and goals for the future. The program is for youth interested in government, leadership, and community service. Each class will include a 15-minute meet and greet with a member of the Coral Springs City Commission, where students will have an opportunity to ask questions.

Students who apply must have parent or guardian approval and commit to participating in the full 1-hour program, including recognition at the City Commission Meeting.

Commission Connection is limited to 20 students per month.
