CORAL SPRINGS, FL – The 911 caller demanded “send help” and then hung up.

When police tracked down the caller and showed up at the Coral Springs home, an officer found a woman bleeding and her dress torn, a police report said.

Within minutes, on July 5, Sjon Pierre Jones, 32, was under arrest after he was accused of hitting his girlfriend and their daughter and then fighting with an officer who was trying to arrest him, the report said.

Jones later admitted to police that he attacked his girlfriend and their daughter after he discovered that his daughter may be watching pornography, the report said.

In fighting with the officer, Jones allegedly struck him, hitting the officer’s badge off his body armor.

When he was arrested, police found out he had an active warrant for a battery charge. For allegedly hitting his girlfriend and daughter, Jones was charged with two counts of battery, child abuse, and resisting arrest with violence.

He remained Friday at Broward County Jail on a $1,500 bond for one of the battery charges, $100 bond for resisting arrest, and no bond for the remaining charges.
