CORAL SPRINGS, FL – The city’s Three Mountains Park closed Wednesday morning until further notice after coyote sightings.

The riverfront park at 9200 NW 1st Street, on the city’s south side just east of University Drive, features a playground, grassy lawns, and a scenic hilltop.

Coyote sightings have become common in western sections of Broward County as housing and other developments have encroached on their natural habitats.

Coral Springs officials are asking that if you see a coyote, call the city’s non-emergency phone: 954-344-1800.
